2010 World Water Week in Stockholm

World Water Week is an international gathering demonstrating the experiences, technologies, and resources that people are mobilizing to deal with water quality management problems. The event brings together experts, practitioners, decision makers, and leaders from around the globe to exchange ideas, foster new thinking, and develop solutions. The 2010 theme, "The Water Quality Challenge-Prevention, Wise Use and Abatement," will focus on pollution-causing activities, prevalent and emerging pollutants, and the scale and trends of impacts on human and environmental health. Activities are structured to draw attention to effective response measures related to pollution prevention, wise resource use, and sound abatement practices and to allow for an analysis of methods for addressing current and future water quality problems. More information about the meeting can be found at http://www.worldwaterweek.org/sa/node.asp?node=472
